Why do I need to log in to download attachments from Customer Service?

To best protect your data, we've enhanced the security of our attachments. This means you now need to log in to our CRM tool, Zendesk, to view your support requests and download attachments.

Why this change?

Simply put: Your privacy is important to us! This measure allows us to better protect your personal data from unauthorized access.

Was my data not secure before?

Your data was secure before, but we continuously improve our systems to ensure your data's protection and adapt to the ever-changing security landscape. This new login requirement adds an extra layer of security, further protecting your privacy. It minimizes the risk of unauthorized access and ensures that only you can access your sensitive information.

What do I need to do now?

Previously, you could open attachments directly in your email notifications. Now, you'll find a link there that takes you to our Help Center login. Log in there to securely download the attachment.

How can I view my attachments now?

Click on the link in your email notification.
You'll be redirected to our Help Center login page. Here you can:
1️⃣ Sign in to an existing account.
2️⃣ Reset your password.
3️⃣ Register a new account.

After logging in, you can view your service requests and download the attachment.

What else can I do in the Help Center?

View older requests: You have access to your past and current requests, allowing you to review the history of your communication with our customer service at any time.
Track the status of your requests: You can see the current processing status of your tickets and even mark them as solved.

App ABOUT YOU is available only if you are located in The Netherlands.

If you are in The Netherlands and cannot find the ABOUT YOU App, it is likely because your App Store or Google Play Store is not set to your current country. You may check the following sites:

If you are located outside of The Netherlands, in one of the countries where ABOUT YOU operates (e.g. Spain), you can download the Spanish ABOUT YOU App. In the App settings you can adjust your country & the language.
If you are located outside of The Netherlands, in a country where ABOUT YOU does not operate, then unfortunately the ABOUT YOU App will be entirely unavailable.

How can I find the right size or fit?

Since sizes and measurements can vary between brands, finding the right size or fit can sometimes be tricky. To make this easier, ABOUT YOU offers the 'Size Finder' tool and some helpful tips below.

Shop with a filter
You can use the 'Size' filter to select your standard size, but also to display items specifically for petite and tall body types. With the 'Special Assortment' filter, you can also view items for plus sizes or maternity wear. In our mobile app, you’ll find a size chart in the product description along with instructions on how to measure your body. By comparing your measurements with the chart, you can easily choose the right size.

Size advice
For some items, you can see which size we recommend based on the measurements you've provided, your most recent purchases and returns, and even the specific sizes chosen for each brand. By clicking on 'Size Finder', you’ll be asked to provide your height, weight, body measurements, and the most worn sizes of your favorite brands. Based on this, the tool will automatically suggest the best size for the product you’ve chosen.

How can I enable cookies?

The procedure for enabling cookies depends on your browser:

Google Chrome

Open the browser menu and go to 'Settings'. Under the 'Privacy' section, click on 'Content settings'. Then, enable the 'Allow local data storage' option under 'Cookies' (recommended). Close the window and refresh the page.

Internet Explorer 9-11

Open the browser menu (click the gear icon) and go to 'Internet options'. Click on the 'Privacy' tab, then move the slider under settings to allow all cookies. Click 'OK' to close the settings window and refresh the page.

Mozilla Firefox

Open the browser menu (Firefox button) and select 'Settings'. Go to the 'Privacy' section. Set the dropdown list next to 'Firefox will: ' to 'Use custom settings for history'. Check 'Accept cookies' to allow cookies, and select the options 'Keep until:' and 'they expire'. Click 'OK' to close the settings window and refresh the page.

Apple Safari

Open the browser menu (click the gear icon) and select 'Settings...'. Go to the 'Privacy' section and select the 'Never' option under 'Block cookies:'. Close the window and refresh the page.

Why am I not receiving the newsletter even though I subscribed?

After signing up for the newsletter, you will receive a confirmation email with an activation link. Your subscription is only complete once you click on this link.

If you did not receive the confirmation email, it might have ended up in your spam folder. To prevent this, you can add newsletter@aboutyou.com to your address book. If you still have trouble receiving the newsletter, please contact our customer service at customerservice@aboutyou.nl. We will be happy to assist you further.

What can I do if I subscribed to the newsletter, but did not receive the voucher code that I was promised for subscribing?

As soon as you have subscribed to our newsletter, you will receive a confirmation email with an activation link. Your newsletter subscription is only successfully completed after you have clicked on this link.

You will then receive a message confirming your newsletter subscription, together with your personal discount code. It may take up to 48 hours for this confirmation to be sent.

If you have not received a confirmation email after 48 hours, please check your junk mail or spam folder.

To be absolutely sure that you receive all our emails, you can also add our newsletter email address (newsletter@aboutyou.com) to your address book.
