Can I alter my data by myself?

If you are logged in to your customer account, you can edit your personal information (name, date of birth, email address, and phone number) in your profile under 'Profile & Security.'

You can change your address details during your next order. Simply enter the desired delivery or billing address during the checkout process.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to change an address after an order has been placed. But don’t worry! If you accidentally order to the wrong address, the package will automatically be returned to us and your payment will be refunded. In the meantime, you can, of course, reorder your desired items to the correct address.

If you change your personal details, you will always receive a confirmation email.

Does it cost money to register for an account?

Creating an account with us is free. Maintaining your account remains free even after it is created.

How can I delete my customer account?

You can send us a request to delete your customer account at any time via email to customerservice@aboutyou.nl and we will immediately initiate the deletion of your customer account. The email does not have to follow any special format; however, you should be clearly identifiable, meaning that you should always contact us from your registered email address.

In order to process your request, we may ask for additional information for identification purposes before responding to your request. After processing your request, we will immediately arrange for the deletion of your customer account, provided that there are no legal provisions to the contrary (e.g. settlement of outstanding amounts).

How can I create an account?

Great that you want to create an account! To sign up, click on 'Sign Up' at the top of the page and fill in your details. Then click on 'Sign up for free', and your account will be created. You can also easily create your account during your first order. In both cases, you will need to enter your email address and a password. With these details, you can log in to your account in the future and view, check, and edit your information.

Can I find out more about my data? What about the transfer of data?

You can assert your right to data transferability (Art. 20 GDPR) by sending an email to our customer service at customerservice@aboutyou.nl.

Your e-mail address is used by our logistics partners solely to notify you about your shipment. For more information, please refer to our privacy policy.

Question 6

How can I change my password or how can I renew my forgotten password?

Simply click on the login icon on the start page, and after clicking on »Login«, click on »Forgot your password?«. Proceed to enter the email address saved in your customer account and click "Reset password".

We will send you an email that can be used to reset your password. You can then change this according to your wishes.

It is also possible to change your password when you are logged into your personal profile under "Profile and Security". Here it is necessary to enter your current and your desired new password and to repeat the new password. Don't forget to save your changes.

If you change your personal data, you will always receive a confirmation email immediately afterwards.

Are my personal details sold to third parties?
